As a Level 3 Forest School Coach in training and educator, Coach Keane holds over three years of forest school experience. He is also well-versed in the progression of child education, having served as a study skills seminar presenter and mentor for children aged three years and older. Immersed in the wild from a young age, beginning as a Scouts leader and later as an artilleryman, he is a passionate nature enthusiast at heart. He firmly believes that every child has an inner wildlife warrior spirit waiting to be ignited through child-led play in the wilderness, and it is our role as Forest School leaders to ignite that spark.
As a Navy Engineer with over nine years of experience, Coach Eugene has a wealth of knowledge in planning and organizing events for the Navy. As a Wildlife Warrior Coach, he finds immense joy in working with children. Seeing their unrestrained enthusiasm in pursuing fun and adventure reminds him that as adults, it's important not to forget how to play and enjoy life. He firmly believes that nurturing healthy, well-rounded individuals involves not only mental stimulation but also physical engagement.
In his free time, he enjoys learning new languages, such as Bahasa Indonesia and Vietnamese, as well as cooking and baking.
Coach Jia Bao has over 3.5 years of experience in forest school education. At the age of 16, he journeyed to London to deepen his understanding of wildlife and environmental conservation with WWF. His passion for nature blossomed during a childhood spent catching bugs and exploring intriguing plants, a passion he continues to nurture and share by imparting his knowledge of flora and fauna in Singapore. Coach Jia Bao firmly believes in the transformative power of child-led learning, where each child uncovers new facets of themselves and builds character through outdoor experiences that offer unique learning opportunities.
As a behavioral therapist at an international school, Coach Giat has worked with a variety of children with special needs. She holds a degree in Psychological Science from the University of Wollongong and a Diploma in Nutrition, Health, and Wellness from SP. As a Wildlife Warriors Coach, she believes that every child deserves a chance to explore nature and go beyond the confines of a classroom.
In her free time, she loves the outdoors and spends most of her holidays climbing mountains.
